Description

This is first built in late December last year (2014), and its used for gaming and school work, since then I have upgraded the PSU, wireless adapter, added a second GPU and finally cable managed this little sucker. From now I think I am done with upgrades and I hope this big microwave will last me for the next 3-5 years (Thanks AMD'S head production)

A Break down of parts:

FX 6300

This processor is amazing! I find it really good for for raw performance for things like games and streaming content over the internet and between the house, I have over-clocked it to 4.5ghz and I am loving the performance!!! I think I will wait to zen to upgrade this little guy (Not for a long time)

Deepcool GAMMAXX

Well S@#t this is a seriously underrated cooler for its price, I snagged this little guy for $10 AUD and it meets all my needs, I can get a good overclock on this guy and its not very loud at all!!!!!

MSI 970 Gaming board

This is a good board for the price, it has a lot of good features and has a super easy to use BIOS, it had alot of PCIE slots and up to 32gb of ram so I think I am set

Ram 8gb.... what it ram!!

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1tb

This is amazing for the price, it does the job really well and install was a breeze. I really don't need a SSD because I think its just a luxury.... (and come on dont u like clean ur desk while ur PC starts :P)

R7260X X2 (Asus and gigabyte)

These cards are brilliant, now I know the haters are here with the two mid range cards but I brought them at separate times and cant get the sorta money to buy a new GPU and just have another sitting around.... and its cool getting to say to friends that I have got 2 graphics cards

Cooler Master K380

Well I was lucky with this!!! I originally ordered a K250 and then this arrived instead!! and its meant to be $20 more!! This originally came with a crummy PSU which I soon replaced

Corsair CS650M

Dammmm this is good, I really love the modularity of it and that the cables are sleeved :P

Overall I found this super amazing and I would like to thank the PCPP and toms hardware community for all of there help, I really do appreciate it

dual 260X will perform just above 280X range but below 290

works great at high textures 1080P

but may struggle if you try anything above ultra

But the vram is so low... Some games require 6VRAM, you only have 4.

They may recommend 6GB of vRam, but that doesn't mean it is required.

Actually in both crossfire and sli cards dont combo vram they use the vram from whatever is the main card or whichever card is in the top slot so actually he only has 2 gigs

I was 100% aware, but I don't play that's many AAA titles, I play games like Skyrim, witcher 2, CSGO, ARK and games like that. They run amazing though :P

Then you cannot play WoW or Smite, and a few more games that are well known. Thank you for informing me, though!

Hey mate. As much as this build is some what inconsistent, it's actually really interestingly different. How are those GPU's treating you? Rather bizarre in my humble opinion but if it works, its fine i guess!

As for that PSU, i think in the future if you receive more funds you should try and find a better alternative. Those units are generally not the best and i really hope it serves you well, but hopefully in time you will update it to a better and reliable unit :)

Great job mate!

Thanks for your comment, I have always been raised to be great full for what we have and to never waste, so why would I chuck away a good GPU :p

Thanks for replying, I 100% am going to do some cable management So I can get some more airflow And for your questions I a, actually using an ikea desk, on the top I have cut cable management holes and made a cable tidier and also removed shelves in a cupboard and made it where the PC sits

Bench marks: ARK High settings - 50FPS Skyrim Ultra modded - 60FPS Minecraft - Lol 400FPS CSGO - 100FPS
