Description

this is my first ever build. I use this PC for gaming, Works great! plays games AMAZING at medium to high settings.. I recorded the data of what the performance is on 3 games... I did not overclock the processor at all, i left it at stock speeds. Im going to add a 1050 ti when I can and that will bring the performance up.

I did not build this PC for $620... i bought parts when they were on sale and got some mail in rebates aswell, I built it around $530

All these settings are what I usually play at And there not that bad

BeamNG.drive - All medium settings Average FPS around 90 to 105 (on the grid map) On a map with alot of tress and more textures it gets around 40 to 60

Fortnite Battle Royale - View Distance Far Shadows Medium Anti-Aliasing Medium Textures High Effects Medium Post Processing Medium --- Average FPS is 74 to 92 (low settings gets 130 to 140 FPS) ---------------------------------- H1Z1 - Overall Medium settings Average FPS is 45 to 70 ---------------------------------

Really clean build, except the snake lock screen....your boy doesn't do snakes. Everything else though, well done!

Very clean! I would advise painting the ring on the cooler red to match your mobo accents. It shouldn't affect performance, since it's not a fan or heat sink. I did it with my wraith on the same CPU and it looks really nice.

that seems like a good idea.. ill consider doing that, thanks!

Nice build! Were you able to get that memory to run @ 3200mhz? I have the same memory and I can only get it to run at 2666mhz stable.

thanks! and no, I cant get it to run at 3200 MHz without my games crashing... it works at 3000 MHz for me just fine..

You're lucky to be able to run that ram at 3000mhz. I had to dial back down to 2400mhz today to remain stable as I was getting crashes at 2666mhz. I'm running an ASRock B450M Pro4 so maybe I have to wait for the next bios release to be able to run my ram at a higher speed.

tdr_video_failure error?

I can't get my apu to work at all with my system :[

It's probably my ram... but **** what do I know

Does your system post at all or do you mean that your APU doesn't work in Windows? Which motherboard do you have? It could be that the motherboard needs a new bios for it to post with the Ryzen 3 2200G or Ryzen 5 2400G APU. If you can post into Windows but your APU doesn't work it sounds like it can be a driver issue so make sure you downloaded the latest driver for your CPU/APU at amd's website.

All the drivers are updated. It POST'd but it just crashes often.

I’m new to computers, so please excuse me if this question is stupid. But which graphics card did you use? I don’t see it on the parts list.

  • 2 points

Your fine.. its not a stupid question. Its an APU I chose that has integrated graphics on it, Radeon Vega 11 graphics, its honestly not that bad.. both processor and graphics.. in other words, the graphics are in the processor(APU)

Any TDR_VIDEO_FAILURE BSOD's?

I'm using some corsair vengenace ram... and it's sooooo instable...

I don't have any issues with this pc.. I'm no expert but maybe your ram came in a dud? I don't know, but if I were you I would return your ram while you still can and get crucial ballistix sport ram.. I heard they are good for Ryzen.. (again, I'm no expert.. its what I would try doing)

Ryzen is very ram specific. Make sure you go to your motherboard's website and check if the ram you have is compatible with your exact motherboard. You must check to the level of the exact manufacturer part number of your ram to verify. I made the mistake of buying ram that wasn't on the supported list of my motherboard and it will not run at 3200 only 2400. Some people can't even get their systems to post with unsupported memory.

I love how you built basic and left room for upgrading and adding to your rig in the future. It looks really nice, and the cable management is beautiful! Great job!

Also, don't listen to everyone else. The snakes are a great touch! +1

That snake wallpaper is awesome btw.

I have been seeing more and more budget builds lately that have all had some really good cable management and this build is no exception. For the price you did really well and it will be really easy to add a video card in there later on if the need for more fps ever arises.

Very nice! I'm considering a build similar to this one where I get the graphics card later on and use Vega 11 in the meantime

  • 1 point

I think that's very smart, Vega 11 isn't that bad.. but a graphics card later is a really good idea! good luck with your build! :)

Thanks! Thinking of getting a GTX 1060 6gb eventually. But this will get me started with minimum budget.
