Description

My first build, not trying to go for anything huge, i'm a high school student so I wanted to have a budget friendly build. For my cpu I went with the Ryzen 5 2400g, I wanted to use an APU to keep my price lower but with good performance, I was actually really surprised with the performance this offers, can play game like apex legends, minecraft, and csgo on great settings. With my budget and using an apu it gives me the option to upgrade and go with a dedicated gpu, and to add on a lot of other things.

Very solid build! I took an almost identical approach last summer and recently added a GPU to my rig. The 2400G is the perfect choice for low-cost entry to PC gaming and will handle almost any GPU you pair it with in the future.

Uh. Whats the point of 2400G if 2600 is almost at the same price currently?

Because it is an APU that has integrated graphics. He does not have enough money to add a discrete graphics card, so this APU will do the trick.

That's exactly why I chose it, it's really good for budget gaming and gives me options for the future.

Good pc, but you might want to go back and cable manage a little.

We need a Cable Management Police.

Yes I agreed but instead of police we need teachers

Yeah I'm planning on it, it took me forever to get a boot drive formatted right to get windows up and running so I really didn't have much time during the build.

If you don’t mind me asking, what FPS does it run on Minecraft? Have you tried installing shaders on it?

It runs decent on minecraft anywhere from 50-120 fps average of about 80, I haven't tried installing shaders, I don't play as much minecraft as I used to but it uses a bit more processing power then some other games so I'd recommend an upgraded apu from what I used if you're going to use shaders. I play games like apex legends and it runs constant 60 fps.
