DOOOD, you seriously need to clean your build up. 6k Build deserves to look better! Good build though. :D
True that, overall nice build and is ******* powerful as hell.
I was still testing the components. the final cable management is a bit better: )
Hows the Cintiq?
A nice system, but what mae you go for the Hitachi drives? I can't see the value for the price paid, you would have been much better with a stack of barracudas and much much cheaper ($125ec for 3TBs)
I can barely see the cables, where did you hide them all XD
Your build is awesome but, I have to ask you!!! What do you want 11,000 gigabytes for???
Massive HD Video. About 600Gb every 4 months.
+1 holyshit for 3930k
That is definitely not H80i tho.
No, its the H80, but i shall assume that the sites scanned have no price data for the H80 and hides its listing unless you tick the box to show the items with no price data. So OP added the next closest thing
In the second picture, the H80 box is clearly visible.
Oh wait, you said H80i...
yea some parts were not found in partpicker
i must clean my pants know..... Awesome build!!!! i really hope you didnt leave your cablemanagment like that with a case like that. Just freakin awesome
That's a monstrous machine, though I would like to see some photos of the finished product.
Also, what's up with the Antec power supply in the second-to-last photo? Was there a problem with it, or was that a loaner or something?
I built a bunch of computers that week, some components might have mixed up in the photos.
Why would you spend all that money then hardly get any hard drive space? :P
With such a magnificent case, I do hope you run those cables behind the mobo.
Thats a 650D bro.
Motherboard Compatibility ATX, Micro ATX
From the Corsair web-site.
Check your facts before you try to correct someone.
Sorry, pal, but 650D doesn't hold an EATX mobo. And how can you tell the difference? They look EXACTLY the same.
That is a 650D. I also have one and have a Asus Maximus V Formula in mine. The Asus ROG boards are not true EATX. They are only .5 inches bigger than ATX. Also, The 800D is segmented at the bottom to create a seperate compartment for the power supply. The 800D is closer to the 900D than it is the 650. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139001
It's ok to disagree, but don't insult others, ok?
Work on the cables management! Definitely has promise, just clean it up!
Please post some benchmarks!
I find it strange that the most expensive part of this build is the storage. $1300 for 11.25TB? I think there was a lot of room for savings here. Could have went for some Seagate Barracudas and saved $600. Then again, this isn't a budget build. Just seems strange that the hard drives cost more than the CPU and GPU combined. Also, why 2133 RAM. I don't do much editing so I don't know if the higher speed helps here but I know for gaming the difference between 2133 and 1600 is pretty much non existant.
I got them for like $180 partpicker listed them for that price.
After Effects renders to RAM any slight speed improvement is worth the cash:)
OCZ power supply? H80i for a 3930k? Why would you commit this monstrosity?...
holy **** dude. Do you live in like a CRIB? lol yur ****** rich the background of your house is like futuristic lol
I'll think you'll find that is actually an office..
looks like an office
Its a futuristic office :)
Look at the title of the build. He built a RENDER machine. So, compared to most high end editing rigs, this is top notch.
I would never go with anything less for a render machine.
And clean up your grammar.
