Description

I built this computer for my parents to watch youtube, movies from redbox, Netflix and Amazon prime. I used the dvd player, hdd and ram from my previous build. The build was much easier than expected in a small form factor case. The total cost was $180. I have connected this to the 32inch TV via HDMI and able to watch 1080p hd videos without any problem. The keyboard really complements the windows 8 OS.

500w because it was only $5 more than the cheapest modular psu. I am currently using 64gb kingston now ssd from my old build. I am planning to add a 500gb hard disk later.

500 Watts? That a bit...much.

A CX430 would have been sufficient and even that could still be considered overkill.

Sigh.. the CPUs TDP is 17W, the two drives would cover 10W each(i'm leaving room here too..), the motherboard would take 20W and fans combined 5W, This would be happy under an 80W PSU without any worries.

Is the cpu integrated in the motherboard or something?

I don't know if integrated is the right word, it's not soldered on. More like pre-applied

Go to the motherboard, go down to specs and under cpu it says, "Integrated Intel Celeron 847 1.1GHz Dual-Core"
