Description

This is my first and hopefully last for quite a while. The first part I selected was the Phanteks Ethoo Pro ATX Full Tower. The reason I went with this was that I wanted something large enough for me to work in and large enough for me to easily make modifications and upgrades if needed. From their I selected the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core. I initially was going to go with an Intel i5, but changed my mind due to AMD's product appearing to have a better "bang for your buck". From there I selected the MSI Tomahawk ATX AM4. I went with this motherboard due to the compatibility, ratings, and modification/upgrade potential. I also felt that MSI had a fairly easy to navigate and adjust BIOS according to the reviews I watched. My next purchase was the ASUS Radeon RX Vega 56 8 GB AREZ STRIX. I was originally going with the 1060Ti, but felt the Vega 56 was a better deal due to performance and the fact that it came with two free games at the time of purchase. I am very happy with this card, things look great. Everything else was pretty much selected due to ratings, reviews, and price.

Part Reviews

Memory

LED lights on one of the sticks doesn't work. Otherwise they function appropriately.

Operating System

There is a lot of garbage installed in Windows. Clunky navigation for Start Menu. Otherwise it works.
