This was my 2nd PC build. First one i built was in 7/2019 and this was a mere 5 months later. I was too niave the first time and bought a 1440p monitor to do a little gaming with a RX580 video card. This left alot to be desired! I found a buyer for the first PC and set off to quickly assemble an end of 2019 1440p workstation/gaming machine! I did a lot of Youtube university and had the following requirements. $1100-1200 budget. Wanted a SFF case. Wanted a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU. Learned way more than i wanted to about memory doing this research and ended up ordering 2 different Ram sticks. Had used the benzhaomin Samsung b-die finder helper, but alas..... my G.Skill F4-3600C16D-16GTZN were Hynix D-die!!!! oh well, still get plenty of kick with the 3600x and the 5700XT GPU. I REALLY REALLY like the Mini C case. First case I've worked with that had plenty of cable management options and tie downs included in the box. This is day 1 with the new PC. 1/7/2020. I'll update after we use it for a bit.
ALL BLACK! Easy to install. Has a fantastic reputation to keep that 3600X cool. That sucker runs hot! Have played several hours of Skyrim, Borderlands 3, No Man's Sky. CPU average temp only gets to 58 C. not bad!
I read multiple different reviews on this board before purchasing. Seems it is a very controversial board. Here are my 2 cents. The board was easy to work with. connections were well thought out. It had 2 slots for M.2 cards, only 1 M.2 slot shared 1 SATA connection. I really like the RGB in the board. gives my build a nice little touch. I don't plan on doing too much OC'ing but I did dig around in the BIOS to see what was there and how it worked. I thought it was very self explanatory and easy to navigate. I would buy it again.
Good price on 3600 DDR4 C16 RAM! Can't complain about that. Hynix D-Die. Oh well. Plenty fast ram without the OC. Will still see if I can tighten timings any.
This thing is amazingly small. WD Black is always a win. Haven't figured out the game mode yet, but Really liked this piece. I got the one with the heatsink.
Big. Cheap. working good so far. Thinking about getting another SSD and setting it up with the Storemi software. We'll see.
This is probably my favorite piece of my build. What a fantastically designed case. Very builder friendly. plenty of cable management help. Looks fantastic. I wanted a case that didn't have so much dead space like a full size tower. This more than exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend.
1 down size is the little circle power button is like crack to 2 year olds!!! :D can't keep my son from walking over and pressing it.
I like it. the Semi-modular was perfect for my build. Only other power cable I had to add was the Sata power. All black cables make it so you don't have to buy extra cables just to look good. 80+ Bronze. reputable name. good for the money!
Big. Quiet. Alot of CFM. Hard to beat. Cheap.
