The build is beautiful aesthetically, but why do you need a $400 motherboard?
it has a lot of features built in like m.2 sata, wifi, bluetooth, plus i plan on upgrading the processor later.
My god... This is beautiful.
Which cooler do you have on the GPU? Rad mounted up front?
yea removed all hdd trays and have a kraken x60 on the gpu as well.
Nice. Could you please update the prices to what you actually paid.
how did you fit that in there?
No offense but wow a lot of that is overpriced.
Looks like these are the current prices on the parts, he didn't put in prices actually paid.
Yea I know they are current prices, just the price of these parts doesn't seem worth it to me.
I would agree that the motherboard and ram are a little pricey, but otherwise it seems just fine. PSU seems like overkill, but allows for another 780Ti.
Notice how microcenter and Bestbuy are the only sources. This is most likely because he wanted to buy the parts from reliable sources. I bet if Newegg and Amazon were thrown into the mix, he would've saved, but he prefers the convenience of easy return policy to saving $100-200 US. I'm the same way. I bought everything at Microcenter because I wanted easy return, and also because my dad refused to let me buy it from anywhere online since he didn't trust anyone.
With the way the parts list is setup now, it is just going to show pricing based on your preferred merchants. It will also changes based on the website you use (UK, US, Canada ect). If he manually enters the prices, they will not change under any circumstances.
I love it. It's simple and beautiful and it's a beast. Very nice. Have fun, amigo. :D
The most beautiful H440 build on here hands down!
Beautiful build! Love the color scheme. All you need now is some custom white sleeved power cables :)
p.s. if you want to see some more beautiful G10 action check out my build :)
Sweet build! Very nice looking very professional looking.
Be careful with that GPU cooler, The VRMS arn't cooled that well and may get to hot. Especially when overclocking, you'll be to craft a heatsink to go over them. That's what other people have had to do with that cooler.
Thanks for the warning, there are heatspreaders you can get for the vrm
I'm not sure if this would change anything for the VRMs but Noctua makes 92mm fans that might help out some. Just something to check out.
Theres four different links to fans btw.
Love that G10
beutiful build, do you see a big difference between z87 and z97, and are you gonna go 4790k devils cannyon, when it comes out or sticking with 4770k?
Im coming from an AMD system so didnt get the chance to use a z87 board. Yea i do plan on upgrading the cpu down the road.
I'm guessing your a NZXT fan. I like almost all of their products. There cases are great.
Yea i do like their products, but i also considered going with a corsair 230t or 760t. Since i got the nzxt case i decided to make everything match.
Nice! I like it.
+1 for QT cup.
Nice build man.
Very clean build! +1
looks very good!
Certainly not a price/performance build but it looks good
Holy crap dude.
I've seen so many H440 builds, some even with custom loops, but in that lighting that you've got man...
The beauty is mindblowing. And the G10 bracket too...
I see a fetish coming along.
How are you liking windows 8.1? I have to upgrade from windows 7 32-bit and im wondering if i should go just windows 7 64-bit or just got windows 8.1
yea 8.1 works great, it has a lot of good features and has improved since win 8's release.
you're cd key will work with 64 bit version so just download it install it and use your key.
Damn, that blue h440 is mint! If only the G10 came in the same blue colour, that'd be priceless!
Nice build, I'm thinking about getting the same mobo (z97 Deluxe). However, if you plan on sli in the future will dual gpus run at 16x/16x or 8x/8x?
8x, the Z97-WS has dual 16x.
I LOVE this build. It just looks so clean and simple. No red LEDs flashing in your face (that does look cool to tho) and a really nice colour scheme. +1
How is that mouse?
i heard the G10 doesn't fit on the asus 780 ti. I have that 780 ti (direct II OC) and i've heard it doesn't fit.
Absalotly beautiful!!! +1 ceep up the great work
I dont care for the case, but that is a clean build
Very nice build. I think you paid too much for certain components, but ultimately it's your dime.
It's the G10
yea kraken g10 paired with an x60
