A slightly different take than the usual Gamer builds prevalent here on PCPartPicker.
I decided to make a build that is tailored for my cross platform development needs and is future looking for Intel Kaby Lake improvements that will show up next year.
I use Microsoft HyperV a lot, running 4-5 different VMs running at all times. I've got a few flavors of Linux, FreeBSD and Android on these. This drove my memory requirements to 64GB so I can do the usual browsing, Visual Studio development compile/link software on all these VMs potentially simultaneously.
Another key decision was to spend $320 on the Nvme edition of the 950 PRO. This thing is amazing. I have 2-3 second boots of Windows 10.
NOTE: I've added the MSI GeForce GTX 970 (even though my build is still waiting for that part, I have a GTX 750 Ti sitting in its place)
