Description

I first had Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Case but I decided to change to New Corsair Case because each side panel is made by tempered glass (as known as temper and temper), corsair hd/sp series fan's controller is connected to outside so you don't necessarily to change the color/speed/mode inside of the case, and this case was my dream of the case! (dream came true!) I'd like to have the rainbow psu cables but I already have custom cables so I decided to keep using it. In addition I changed to Geil EVO X from the Corsair Vengeance Led because Geil Evo X supports RGB! But unfortunately, HD series controller and SP series controllers are made differently so you have to use either all of HD fans or SP fans to control your lights. . . On my radiator, It's attached with SP fans but I will changed to HD fans later.

Does the RAM have no issue with clearance between rad+fans? I'm planning on building a very similar system but with a maximus viii formula, corsair vengeance led and on top the rad+fan, so i really wanted to know if it's all possible, another thing, about the rgb fans, do you think it's possible to change the sp120 rgb to a fully hd120 rgb fan layout?

I have the same question. Trying first build here. Can I put in an H100i RAD in the top with Z170 board and 8 standard height Vengeance LED 32gb sticks or will it not have upper clearance?

pilotchip you mean 4 ram sticks or are u going to use an x99? because ive seen some x99 mobos that have the dimm slots in a bit higher position than a z170 would

You can... I just built mine with the z170 progaming carbon. I only had 2 ram sticks, but put them in the 2 and 4 slots; 4 wouldn't of changed anything. There was no issue for a h100i v2 and 2 RGB corsair 120mm fans to fit up top.

It depends on the motherboard, such as gigabyte x99 motherboard, it has lack of clearance between the ram and rad + fans.

Oh ok, most probably gonna go with phanteks enthoo evolv atx tg since it is in my opinion the most complete atx case, thanks!

Would this work okay? I really just want 4 sticks of the LED ram so they look cool in "breathing" mode. I have to use Radeon because I just bought the new LG 34" Ultra Wide curved screen that supports FreeSync. Thanks in advance. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mkD3WX

Lol I'm sorry but in picture 8 the reflection looks like you put a water bottle in the case for "extra cooling"! But awesome build, I can't wait to get this case.

You will see small red plastic things that attached on the ram, so if you push down by your finger color will change to either R,G,B, or O (Mix). Also you can control the lights by software but there are only few motherboards that support this ram.
