Hi everyone! This is my fourth completed personal build, my first being back in 2012. As my rigs have evolved, I have been reusing parts. So over half of the items on this list are from either of my previous builds.
The intention of this machine is to handle nearly all of the tasks that I throw at it. This includes namely the latest triple-A video games, and the entire Adobe Creative Cloud suite. It does so flawlessly.
Notes: * Considered the Liancool II but it was out of stock. * When recording temps I placed synthetic stress tests on both the CPU and GPU, representing the worst case scenario. * I decided that logistically I should either include none of my peripherals, or all of those exclusive to my PC, and I did the latter.
Wow. Blazing fast. Blows my old 6700k out of the water; it's over 4x faster in cinebench.
Keeps an overclocked R9 3950X below 70C, and looks great. I'm happy, and I would recommend.
Dual BIOS makes the overclocking experience so much better. Fantastic VRMs. Great support for M.2 and Ryzen 3000. One thing that did bother me was a ringing small cooling fan that would quickly ramp up to a loud speed and plateau. This however was remedied by a new BIOS update. Now the board is silent.
Bright, illustrious, and fast are a few acronyms I would use to describe this kit. Although in hindsight I wish I had either spent less on RGB, or a little more to get RGB with the most crazy speed.
Ridiculously fast --satisfying when doing any task that leans on this. ~3,150Mb/s Seq read.
Gets the job done. Not particularly fast, but that's okay as an external drive.
Wow. I believe that NVIDIA has too little competition at this level and hence is overpriced, but either way this card runs stability, quietly, and looks modern doing so. VERY disappointed that the very bright RGB strip cannot be edited, or even turned off.
Best case I've ever used, and looks better in real life than in photos. Makes you thankful, and raises your standards.
This has been my daily driver for years now, and it has stood the test of time; a quality PSU that I would recommend.
Twice as much air movement as another standard fan, and at least three times as loud, so don't forget the fan curve!
Thrice as much air movement as another standard fan, and at least ten times as loud, so don't forget the fan curve!
Beautiful panel, I received this one refurbished for $550, and I will be using it for several years to come. Very happy with my purchase. Angles and colors are great, ghosting is minor and featureset is complete.
A little expensive, but very modern. This is the no-compromises keyboard for me.
Pre-ordered this, and don't regret it. The vibration motor and the little display on the side are great talking points.
Extremely sharp. I believe this is not for someone who loves a bassy, warm sound. You have to use a heavy EQ to approach the warmth of another, more popular headset. So, as a matter of preference, pick this for highly accurate sound. Crisp highs, and deep lows. Almost feels like woofers on my head --it's an experience.
I received the limited edition white version, and man do I love these speakers to death! I hope to enjoy them for many more years to come. Very happy with my purchase. I do not have enough audio experience to present a critical review in any way.
Great. --more then that. When my power went out I was able to blast music off of my computer for hours, and many of which, I had my windows down.
A classic. Read other reviews because I concur with popular opinion.
Fit is not tight enough sometimes, and the top slips through wider screw holes, so don't plan on these working everywhere... Also, the other end sticks out like a sore thumb sometimes, and I suppose you could just cut it off. Product could be improved.
