I uhhh think your motherboards a little off there. :P and what do you think of that motherboard, I have the Z170 version and want to build a x99 using the same style cause its orange. I like orange. a lot. Otherwise amazing orange build!
I actually hacked a Define S to fit a eATX board :)
I ordered the same case for the z170 of that board and when it arrived I was like, crap... Ended up getting a phanteks enthoo which even though it says it supports eatx in some places it really doesnt
Both motherboard and PSU are wrong. The EVGA PS 1000 is the one on the picture.
fixed it thanks :)
This is the correct PSU
and the motherboard is this gigabyte
never thought hard tubing ?i think i t would look awesome
hard tubing looks cool, but a pain to maintain, this system is all about ease of use & maintenance , QDC's in all the right places to swap out motherboard | gpu | cpu
got you bud looks nice enjoy
how much you spent on water cooling parts roughly ?
close to $1100 on hard tubing, frankly you can get the cost down but i wanted qdc's to make the setup service able & upgrade friendly
Calling it: This will get featured
Random question: Is the tubing itself colored, or is the liquid inside?
the tubing is colored, i am using distilled water
of course distilled water with ptnuke
Nice look D: Next step rigid tubing xd!
Thanks for the comment, not really planning to go hard tubing no QDC's are a deal breaker for me personally
YES! Very slick. +1
like the build but like what crus4de said i think the motherboard off
so the x99 soc champion is eATX & the define S i got on a deal is on ATX support, so there is a hack job going on, look at the rubber gromets they are actually cut out :)
That's a hell of a color scheme! I've always wanted to build a PC decked out in either green or orange. Nice job!
yeah, its difficult to find green components :)
you can look at decals though, they never look good though :(
Nice color scheme :) everything coordinates nicely
+1, nice custom water setup
Already +1 because I mean.. look at it! I had a question though, what radiator did you use?
HWlabs xflow :) 240 & 360
Code Orange makes me think of Code Geass.
Nice build you got there! Nice and bright orange there.
Code Orange was the name of my programming team in engineering college so in honor of my fellow teammates i named the system code orange
Why even bother going with a Fury X the 1070 is far better.
Nice build, Love the orange and black scheme. Makes me think of halloween a bit.
yeah i am from India so never thought this matches the Halloween theme
This is so perfect that even the PSU follows the color schene OwO
Bro if you write a larger description this WILL get featured! Amazing build +1
Thanks for the suggestion, working a on a worthy description for this :)
The tubing is kinda sloppy...so how is this looking so damn amazing? Propably one of the most appealing builds i've ever seen! Tubing, cables and mobo details are like action paint strokes on a black canvas. An abstract expressionist masterpiece.
Thanks for the comment, on the tubing piece its really subjective, i mean i like curved lines around dont prefer the hard turns that most folks do, the bottom tube length is sagging because it has a function
Notice that the CPU block has screw on QDC & so does the GPU block, that means in case i upgrade to the latest gpu, i can run it on air till i save up on money to buy a water block but still continue to run my loop by basically doing a bypass :) Some looks compromised much performance gained long term :)
Actually the only thing that really bothered me a bit is the tube hanging over the PSU.
We don't see enough orange builds. Any reason you omitted a rear exhaust fan? Awesome build.
Wanted a 360 xFlow rad on the top half, the radiator port is blocking the installation of a rear exhaust fan :) Put i have 10 Nidec Servo's as intake plenty of positive pressure that it does not hurt significantly as they say no replacement for displacement :)
at the back and top?
If anything the full on intake of all the fans is probably creating enough positive pressure that its forcing a little bit of hot air outside through the ventilation but it still needs an exhaust fan.
actually this system is all about positive air pressure :)
The front rad is xflow 240 with push pull fans :) all intake
The top rad is xflow 360 with push pull fans :) all intake with filter on top for removing dust
The only exhaust is the back fan grill :) , it really does not matter since there is so much air being pumped in
I loose 2 Degress C temperature doing this but its worth it since i can clean two filters every two weeks & not a spec of dust
agreed, i have built multiple red & black systems in the past but over the years multiple companies have made this red | black color choice as default so wanted to do something different
yes cablemod leds at the bottom lighting this up :)
The fractal case is cool, just the jerry rigging on eATX to define S was a pain
