Description

In early December 2017, my main streaming Computer which is used only to send a stream to twitch via an Elgato HD Pro Capture card went kapoot and so began the journey of building this new build!

The parts were chosen based on a range of things, mainly I wanted a powerful CPU that could manage the stream without constantly dropping frames or maxing out on usage. I contacted a few streamers and asked them what they used and then I altered my list a little and asked them for their opinion then i altered it again and asked again... it was a lot of adjusting.

Overall the PC runs perfectly and is able to stream with only %20 of CPU being used MAX!

Unfortunately, due to college, I've been unable to stream however the PC still gets used regularly for BitMining and things like Photoshop and video rendering.

The PC was rather simple to put together but this wasn't my first build so it didn't take much for it to be done however i did spend one whole day battling to open the case as the top of the chassis was bent a little.

Now to rebuild the Gaming PC and I will be making some upgrades like new ram etc

* Pics are little blurry because I was trying to not capture my reflection while also its a little dusty, *The PC's are elevated on a piece of cardboard to ensure air circulation through carpet

Just get a H series motherboard instead of Z because your processor is locked any you could have gotten a gtx 1060

See, I hate it when people comment this. Why buy an H series board, when you could just buy a Z series and only have to replace one part later on?

I wasn't too interested in which motherboard or GFX card went into the PC just something with enough processing power which this PC has plenty of as this was a sole streaming computer and was only built to process the stream not for gaming.

To be 100% honest I didn't pay attention to the CPU being locked but the PC dose more than what I need it to and was within my budget so I say it was good :)
