Description

I got this computer for two reasons. One is that I wanted to game at 60 fps in most games and two is that I needed a better video editing rig. As of right now, I do not have windows because I just built it but plan on getting it as soon as possible.

Building the computer was very fun and I was very worried as I might of shocked my motherboard without knowing it. But first try pressing the power button everything worked and it booted straight to the motherboard BIOS.

Of course the Fractal Design R5 is very good and made it much easier to wire everything and cable manage. The case also looks awesome and is a nice size.

The motherboard was as you would expect and worked for my needs. Except that the GPU covers the one PCI port that I might need in the future so I might try just moving the GPU to the second GPU slot and the i'll be able to use both PCI slots but we will see.

The cooler master G550M PSU also helped with cable management if you get the semi or fully modular. My only complaint with that is that my PCI-E cable barely made it to the GPU and is a tight fit.

Cooler master hyper 212 evo was very simple to setup but the instructions are really not to great.

I cant say to much about the GPU and CPU yet or even the hyper 212 evo for cooling but I will make sure to update you guys about how they all workout for me.

If anyone is wondering, I have a pa248q asus monitor.

Overall, this PC is a monster and should do exactly what I built it to do.

Hope this helped someone with their journey of building a PC and thanks for reading this.

Hey man i love the build! I also have an FX-8350 in my build but water cooled and paired with a GTX 670. The only problem is that i think your heatsink is on sideways; It's supposed to flow through the heatsink and out the back f the computer, but thats it. I love everything else about it *** well as the white and black color scheme which i also used in my build.

Nice build! I love the white R5.

I would personally have gone with a batter PSU, but other than that, looks awesome!

Nice build. That white case looks good with your red and black components.

Very nice build, although I would have chosen much different parts just based on my personal preferences. The white r5 complements your build very nicely! Well done.

I think he made a good choice with that card because (based on his name) it seems like he plays Minecraft, which for some reason tends to take bias towards nvidia performance wise. I agree with you on it being a little out of place in a $900 build, but for what he's doing it might help him out.
