Description

Listen here folks, built this BEAUTY for a friend and the only thing i needed to use was a cub scout Swiss army knife like a real man!!!

But seriously,

all the components worked really well the only foreign brand i wasn't so sure of was the Deep cool 240mm CPU cooler but feels solid runs quite at full load and looks fantastic!!

The case was fantastic to build in and they fixed the panel mounting system when first released.

Haven't overclocked because frankly doesn't need it yet.

Ran Aida 64 for an hour and highest it reached was 48c (ambient air temp is 18c though)

ran UNIGINE valley on 1080P Ultra and got FPS:157.4. Score: 6414

Any questions or quires feel free to comment!!

CPU Cooler

excellent CPU cooler so far great price for performance! wish maybe 1 more 4 pin fan extension wire.

Case

awesome case to build in they fixed the tempered glass panel mounting method and left the old option with an alen key ALSO. only improvement maybe 2-4 more mm of space on the back side that 24 pin motherboard cable can be TIGHT!!

I sense a diss of the verge "and a Swiss army knife that hopefully has a Phillips head screwdriver".

Nice build tho nonetheless.

Be careful with that cooler, they are known to leak

You're not wrong, works excellent so far hoping that they fixed the issue but definitely keeping an eye of course with any AIO liquid cooler

Have you played much yet? What's the lowest fps you've got while gaming?

Computer wasn't for me so depends on the game but the unigine valley got 154 FPS with 1080p ultra. a 2k monitor i would expect 90ish frames and 4k gaming around 50 if that helps

Depends on your build if your looking for great price to performance with some RGB then this guy was the best I found, I also like using Asus software more than msi or gigabit (personal opinion). Only thing it's missing for it's price point is WiFi besides that it's great.

How are the vrm temps? Going to attempt 5ghz on my 9700k when I get my computer put together, I also bought this motherboard seeing the amazing price to performance.

they included a mount for a 40-50mm fan for the vrm, you have to buy the fan separate though. I didn't attempt overclocking so unfortunately didn't record any vrm temps. watch out for clearance for the fan when looking at my setup i would have had to move the top mount 120mm fan.

Thanks for the feedback I think I will have a 140mm fan at the top of my case supplying fresh air to vrms inorder to keep it cool.
