This was my first build! I use it mainly for gaming. (Strategy games specifically) Went with AMD for more performance per dollar. This went very smooth and I am averaging 70-90fps on newer titles at 1080p on Very high/ultra settings! Rome 2 Total War is getting 80-90fps on Ultra and Dawn of Man is sitting consistently at 75fps with everything maxed. Fast, smooth, good 1st build with only minor hiccups.
Note: This build was about $800 all in with monitor so definitely a budget build. Prices might change by the time you see this.
Great CPU for the price.
Looks good. Has 2 M.2 slots and the WiFi works well which is what I needed.
Needs more plugin spots for case fans. I’ll have to get a splitter to use 4 fans.
It’s fast, does its job. 3000mhz once you override the default speed in bios.
Great SSD. Super quick load times. Boots windows in 10sec or less.
Good performance for the price and looks great with the red backplate. Great 1080p card.
Big enough, only complaint is the red plastic on front feels a bit cheap but it’s a $40 case so big whoop.
It works as advertised.
Best monitor I could find for the price. Adjust the settings to get 144hz and the color settings for full enjoyment. I wish adjusting the brightness was easier.
It’s an $8 keyboard and it works. I don’t need fancy rgb keyboards.
