Description

This build has roughly taken about 3 months to build, Mostly on parts and $$$.(All prices are under base price)

CPU - Intel 6600 (Non K) - 4/5

The reason why I've went with the 6600 instead of the 6600k or 6700k, is due to the fact of pricing. Since the 6700k was roughly $505 CND and 6600k was roughly $410 CND when buying the CPU. for about 85$ off from the non k at Canada computers it was an offer I could't refuse. Plus I do have plans to upgrade to a different chip when Intel releases a new 6 core for the skylake series or z170 chip-set.

The reason why this is rated 4/5 is because its a decent chip off the new skylake platform, with coming at 3.3GHZ and a quad core its a really good CPU, and for 325 CND. This was amazing deal. The only turn off from Non K chip-sets that you can't overclock...... Well you can it just takes abit longer to overclock.

CPU Cooler - H100i GTX - 5/5

First time buying a CPU cooler.... legit hands down amazing.

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming 7 - 4.5/5

This motherboard is one of the most easiest to deal with, Mostly in the BIOS. It's quite simple out of the box like any other motherboard, It comes with 2 M.2 and lots of SATA express ports which currently I'm using one of the ports for my M.2

I would recommend anyone to pick this up!

Memory - Kingston Hyper FuryX 32GB(Black) 5/5

This memory kit match's the build I was going for and it just blows away with the performance. The reason why I went with 32gb instead of 16gb is for future proofing, Due to the fact that everything is going up as of now... as of 5 years ago. 8gb was the normal, Now is 16gb soon 32gb.

I might grab 4 pairs of 16gb of Hyper FuryX later on to max out the ram on my board which is currently sitting at 32gb's atm.

Storage - Crucial MX200 250GB M.2/Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB (Both SSD) (5/5 both)

(I'm running an ONLY SSD built, As of now I will be expanding more on to my build with two more from samsung. another M.2 and 2.5.) Both of these SSD are great, for both performance and speed it comes to my needs when loading programs, games and my OS. I got my OS on the M.2 which loads the OS under 30s. - Crucial with the price and seller performance on the M.2, It can deliver the needs as it can to a speedy performance then any other mechanical drive out there. - Samsung 850..... Do I have to say more? Legit. Go buy one!

Video Card - 980TI Gigabyte G1 Gaming (5/5)

This video card has out perform and did the job for my build. With running at 4K resolution and running most of my games at ultra 2k. Except Boarderlands 2...... Dam on 4K ultra (Its nice) This card is the best bang for your buck, Its quite and easy to OC.

Case - Mastercase Pro 5 (5/5)

With its easy to removable drive cages, thumb screws, clear side panel and easy cable management. This case can blow out any cases out of the water since it comes with 3 decent fans and easy breathable mesh. This case is doing the needs for all your components so it can circulate the air movement to all the parts.

Power Supply - EVGA 750GS 80Gold rating(5/5)

Monitor - ASUS PB287Q 60Hz 28.0" (5/5) (*Running with a display cord, Not HDMI)

For a not expensive 4k monitor this legit blown me away when I've plug this in. Its a clean 28" Monitor that blown both Samsung and LG 28" 4k monitor out of the water. This was roughly 100$ more then Samsung and 75$ more then LG, But this dose the job for Gaming and watching movies on netflix or youtube.

(I know the mouse is blue.... But hey its a decent mouse) This build was completed on March 18 2016.

awesome build, some LED strips and sleeved red and black cables would make it insanely slick :)

Nice build, you can get better performance from the m.2 slot with a Samsung 950 pro, but it will raise the $

I do have plans to get a 950 Samsung later on and just transfer the boot to the 950. But thank you!

You wasted your money. Why would you buy a locked SKU yet you buy a mobo on a overclocking platform
