I built this computer for my brother to game on instead of his 5 year old Toshiba Laptop where he was using the integrated graphics on his i5 480m CPU. I had half of these parts laying around to use so we only had to buy the RAM, case, mobo and cooler. Over all I am happy how the build turned out, but looking back I would probably choose a different case. The way the case layout is you need to run the 8-pin EPS cable through the cpu cut out on the motherboard tray if you want to keep it out of the windows view. Also the backplate for the Hyper 212 evo needs to be installed before installing the motherboard or else you can't secure the standoffs. But everything ended out working ok and it is running well. I may try and overclock it slightly in the future but he needs something extremely stable so he doesn't come asking me to fix it.
Great CPU for the money plus I had one laying around
Its a cooler. If I have time to run more tests i will up date this review as well as the build bio.
Great motherboard to work with. Wish it had another fan header or 2 but for the money and features can't be beat. Will update after overclocking attempt.
Great graphics card that will be way more than enough for him for years to come. Also another hand me down.
Good looking case. Pain to build in. I would not build in this case again.
Solid power supply and plenty of power for his needs. Another great hand me down.
