Description

Had a budget of around $1300, but didn't consider tax + shipping costs living in California so I did go over budget. Major purpose of the build was to edit my photos in lightroom + photoshop and learn video editing on other programs. Dota 2 on max settings is 120-130 FPS average, PUBG medium-high gets 70-110 FPS average, Rainbow Six Siege max gets 120-140 average.

Ram runs at 2933 XMP 2.0, can boot at 3066 but not stable and 3200 no boot. CPU is overclocked to 3.69 at 1.24v. GPU is at stock (no overclock). This case is somewhat small and cramped (cables were a nightmare to organize), but temps are decent with 4 fans (3 intake, 1 out). Gaming gets the CPU to 65-70 while GPU gets to 60-70. I removed stock thermal on both CPU and GPU and replaced with Arctic Silver. Helped both by around 7c~ More so the GPU since stock thermal paste was just old looking when I opened it up.

Thanks for looking!

Nice build! I just bought a jonsbo FR-301 as well, they look pretty sweet!

Nice build. I want to switch to ryzen for my Lightroom PC. Are you concerned with dust buildup inside the case with the fans 3 in and 1 out?

Thanks! I am, which is why I clean it out with an air duster every month.

That moment when I realize that my new concept build is literally a brother to this.
