Nice build man. Looks sweet. Though, one question. Aren't all your fans set up for exhaust - even the radiator at the front? Where's the intake coming from? I thought the NZXT AER fans only show rgb one way so if intake from the front then you won't see them..or am I wrong?

  • 3 points

Ignore this question just saw looks like u doubled up the fans on the radiator. Nice idea!

But they are all still being used as exhaust?

Do you suggest something for have a better ariflow?

flip the fans on your front rad so they pull air into the case.

  • 1 point

I got two more in the front so i should flip the 4

Am just not sure what that will give

  • 2 points

yes, all your fans should be moving air in one direction.

Looks great!!!. i have a 7700k oc'd on a $30 air cooler that runs very hot and a my 600p 512gb is crazy fast. i would love to get a water cooler like some version of the kraken. Great build!!!

Thx

I just worry about overclooking my cpu ...

It is good or fine for you?

  • 1 point

Intel 7th and 8th gen cpus run hot because they have cheap tim under the heat spreader. Your x62 should be enough to handle a mild oc but but I'd recommend you do some research on de-lidding if you want to go to 5ghz safely.

  • 1 point

I prefer to stay at 4.4 ghz then :P But thanks you

  • 1 point

the x62 can handle quite a bit but i would not recomend turning speedstep off

  • 1 point

Really? I would say you could easily go to 4.9 with the x62. I am actully right now looking at getting a H100-i v2 to replace my air cooler.

Id i need more power i will overclock then

  • 1 point

Do you have asus ez tune wizard in your BIOS? with that you can just say use that by clicking ez tuning wizard then selecting gaming and media editing- water cooler- and boom your overclocked to 4.9

i tryed that once. don't do that on a air cooler. hit 98 with all 4 cores

Is there enough clearance for the outside fans to suck air?

  • 1 point

Yes just enough 4 120 mm fan on cooler

  • 2 points

You don't have any intake. :) But it sure looks gorgeous.

  • 1 point

Yes 2 at the front the stock with the kraken are exhaust

  • 1 point

Wait, you left the two at the front as intake? So you have intake and exhaust happening simultaneously on your radiator? Oi vey.

edit: looking at your photos, every single fan in your system is set up to exhaust air out. You don't have anything bringing cool air in.

  • 1 point

Oh sorry i could change my 2 stock fan of the kraken and set them as intake?

  • 2 points

You'd want to swap all four of those fans around, including the rgb fans. I'm sure that's not what you wanted visually, but you can't just turn two as intake while the other two are also exhausting.

I wonder what your temps are like..

  • 1 point

Sorry just 2 yes like my two no rgb one and yes my temperature are not verry good honestly i could change that...

  • 1 point

The ones in the back are the way they should be, two intake and two exhaust is ideal. High pressure with no exhaust will trap hot air in the case. I wonder what YOUR temps are like...

  • 1 point

Intake means taking in cool air from outside the chassis, this is usually done by the front fans while the back/top fans exhaust to keep the air pressure balanced. You will get lower temps and less dust if you turn around the front fans. Other than that you have a very nice build, congrats.

For my plastic on my motherboard i want to paint it so what do you think of that?

  • 1 point

Great idea, just be careful with it. Remove the parts you want to paint and cover the threads, use plasti-dip so it can be removed if you don't like it or need to RMA the board.

  • 1 point

I don't understand why you spent $850 on a 1080 when the more powerful 1080ti was available for a much cheaper price and outperforms the 1080

  • 1 point

I want a fiable gpu and my gpu is the highest one in the 1080 so i opt for that

  • 1 point

Nice build! Looks the best when it's just the white LED imho. Wish I could afford a 1080...

Ignore him! That is just jealousy talking. Why should a parent not indulge and encourage a child's hobbies if they have the money to do so?
