I helped build this PC for myself not knowing anything about what the parts were. I since then learned a lot more about what everything is. This PC gets around 550 FPS with LoL, and 150 with Unigine Heaven.
I would have gotten an H7.
But nice build though
I would highly suggest upgrading your PSU. Your system can use 432W and that 450W PSU won't handle it well when you start overclocking the CPU and the GPU in SLI. I would recommend cheap but high quality PSU such as EVGA B2/G2 or Corsair RMx/RMi. I said cheap but high quality since you can buy an expensive and high quality PSU sush as EVGA P2 or Corsair AXi/HXi but you don't need to.
Other than the PSU issue, if you just recently built this PC should have gone with a Gtx 970(OR a R9 390) and bought another one when money isn't an issue. Anyways +1 Mistakes were made but that experience will allow you to make less mistakes in the future
The PSU is actually a 650w Antec. I didn't get around to updating that yet.
Thank you for your suggestion, I probably will eventually go with a Corsair PSU.
I had to comment when i saw it was 450W PSU, well that PSU should be fine. Hope nothing goes wrong!
Don't Bother. That antec is a very good unit.
980 > 960 SLI
You need a better PSU and CPU cooler
Thanks for your suggestions!
you forgot to mention the 970 has only 3.5GB of VRAM
Lmao ramgate 2015
Pretty good, from the few hours I had with them (I am the one who built this PC for my friend).
Ok. There were a few micro stutters in Unigine Heaven, but I guess that is to be expected. When he was choosing the parts, I didn't know him, so I couldn't tell him to get a 970, or a 980.
I know that the dual 960's are not the optimal for gaming i got the second for Christmas i am going to sell them soon and get the new GTX 1080 which will dramatically increase performance
The PSU is garbage why would you like that...
not all beasts are animals
a good amount of them are PCPP completed builds
oh and don't forget the 6700Ks
we just singled out 40% of all completed builds
