Put together this build for a client that would be using it particularly for VR application, I got a lot of epic deals on the pricing taking advantage of anything from Best Buy price match & Visa Checkout promotions to Jet.com 15% off, Razer student discounts, etc.
Went for a black/red theme and used the Anidees Crystal tower. This was a toss up between the Corsair 570x and the Anidees and in the end decided to grab the Anidees simply because of the epic customer support reviews for the company and also the fact that it is a relatively unknown company. The first case that shipped was received damaged, contacted Anidees and within a few hours they verified that they would be shipping me another case promptly. Received a second case within 2 days of contacting them. The tempered glass is sexy af, the fan controller in the back is pretty epic as well.
Won the silicone lottery on this one and was able to get a stable overclock at 5.0Ghz on the CPU. Graphics card unfortunately didn't do so well with custom overclocking and I wasn't able to get much in terms of OC other than what the Asus software afforded.
Really was going for future-proofing and upgrade-ability with this build, but I underestimated how many USB 2.0 hubs I needed, so needed to get the NZXT internal USB hub so that way I could connect all of the components.
First time posted a completed build on here, but have used PCpartpicker quite a lot in the past!
Thanks for reading (:
