Description

Hello

This is my second build. Most of the parts are brand new, but i also used some parts from my old build. I mostly use the pc for creative tasks like photo editing and music production, but i also play a lot.

When i was planning and buying parts for this build, i got two motherboards (Asus Maximus X Code and Gigabyte Aorus Master) which was doa. After some weeks without pc (felt like years) im finally up and running again.

For some extra cooling to the GPU i use Jonsbo VF-1, which i think works great. For a better look i also cut a hole in the psu-shroud for the PCI-E cables to go through.

I love your setup, going for the ultrawide race myself, I have an 83in wide desk that would look so good in a setup like this +1

Thank you! Ultrawide is so nice! Mine is just 63 tho. Wish i had 78 or wider for more space, but maybe in the future :)

Hi mate... hope it won't insult you, but according to me the power of this beautiful machine (probably in the top 10%-5% on this site) and its value deserve not to be exposed like every fifth build that we see here. Would have enjoyed the personal touch. Cheers!

Hi. Thank you for the comment :) I agree with you, but for now i love how its look. That said, i have plans for more customization in the future, like custom backplate for the GPU, LCD-panel in the side of the case and more. Cheers! (:

Beautiful build, I love the white power supply cables, and the lighting behind the desk. Did the Titan XP come from an older build?

Thank's :) That's right. Still no roblems with ultra settings so I decided to not buy RTX yet.

Ive been thinking about getting that very same monitor for a long time, tell me how the 4ms response time is for you? also is 100hz too low of a frame cap for gaming on max settings at 1440p ultrawide?

  • 1 point

I'm not a hardcore gamer but I think the monitor works very well for gaming. I had 240hz before and I really can't see a big difference, but that's me. I mostly use the monitor for editing photo, so that's the best answer I can give you.

I've been hesitant to buy more RAM sticks bc I think that the X62 gets in the way of the most left DIMM slot, I have an ASUS MoBo too, which probably has the same clearance as yours, would you say that's an issue?

I just bought the same case for my first build and I've heard about issues with airflow and overheating. Have you had any issues with that?
