I had future proofing in mind, while also maintaining my small budget for the build. PC will primarily be used for gaming (PUBG, CS:GO), Fruity Loops, and Photoshop. Planned upgrades: CPU: i7 8700k RAM: 2x4gb 3000mhz GPU: (depends on how prices play out)
I have two more red LED Corsair AF120 quiet edition fans on the way to replace the stock AIO fans.
Got this in a bundle deal with the ASRock Z370M Pro4 board for $204.99 on Newegg ($194.99 AR). Does the job for now until I upgrade.
Got this because the InWin 301 is ideal for watercooling. Works well, simple install, keeps temps cool. RGB logo is nice, stock fans are lame change those out when you can.
Does everything I need it to do. Cheapest Z370 board I could find at the time.
Scooped these up for $99.99 on Newegg. Make sure you work the XMP profile in BIOS to get it running at 3000mhz.
Taken from my old laptop, still works well.
Temporary card to hold me off until GPU prices fix themselves. It's decent, CS:GO at max settings ~170fps average. PUBG at high settings ~65fps average. NO PCI-E CONNECTOR REQUIRED!
Loved this case, first item I purchased. Wanted to work my build around it, it's... so.... beautiful, and small! Not a fan of big bulky cases. It seemed to be ideal for watercooling, cable management is a bit tricky as well.
Fully modular PSU, scooped up from a friend for $30. **IF YOU'RE BUILDING IN THE INWIN 301 CASE, MAKE SURE TO GET A SEMI/FULLY-MODULAR PSU! Cable management is going to suck otherwise.
$120 at BestBuy :( at least it's registered to my windows account.
Red. Quiet. Cool.
