APEX/PUBG light gaming build on a budget. I was asked to offer better alternative to a pc store's build in same budget or cheaper alternative with same performance level. The differences were: cheap psu, 1x8 gb ram (thanks for leaving free slot, it's great but for now I left the Single Channel's Club :D ), 1050 Ti (very modern choice, especially with GTX 1650 on a battlefront which is cheaper & more powerful lol) and ssd 120 gb. The cpu there was 9100f, which is ok also. I originally planned to expand ssd, replace old nvidia's **** with GTX 1650 and stick-in at least 4 gb ram more. But compared tests, and thought to go red devil side :) I'm not a fan of it, honestly, but amd offers value, so no-brain to use htpc-leveled gpu and 4-core for same $$$. The RAM set to go 2666.16. I don't see any point going your 3000-s on a budget, seriously. Turbo disabled (kick me with tomatoes and eggs), because 0.4 ghz do the thing, but 70 C on load, even stress-test in AIDA is a bit hot (consider the summer, or extremely heated room as I do, for example). Thank You AMD, for putting pancake-sized cooler for 6-core Ryzen 1600. I know back in time when 1600 was just released there was a bigger cooler inside the box, so f... u amd, you did it silently again. And one thing. The psu i chose was Aerocool vx 600 or 650w, some other ram 2400 or 2666 one and Asrock mobo which should be few $ cheaper, but customer wanted as many "right now" as possible so we took what was in local store (not the one who offered... the original build :D)
What can I say. I'm satisfied with my work, hope customer's son too (it's a gift). Case left some old box one. Inside was i3-6100, GTX 960, 1 stick for 8gb of... ddr3 (omg), cheap crap psu with cracling fan (3 years old pc, not bad, huh :D) and crappy old 500gb toshiba hdd which loaded windows same fast as my old Pentium 4 loaded Half-Life 2 back in times which was about 5 mins :D
Now your critics fellows. One buddy told me that mobo is pure **** for "such a monster 6-core cpu", I should've gone for B350 at least in order not to burn the whole thing lol
Does the job!
A bit modest in tweaking, but what could you ask from A320 chipset? :) Good choice for any 65W cpu.
2400.15 turned into 2666.16. Hynix chips. Cool!
Cheapest, but I recommend it only on a very hard budget. Go for UV500 at least if you have anything better than old 2-core pc :D
One of these is good already in another customer's pc for one year. Hope they last good! :)
Keeps 73 C in Unigine Heaven benchmark. Very nice, remember, no single case fan here! :) Metal backplate (shame for you, Gigab*te in budget, better not put any backplate than plastic crap!). Fans don't crackle. Minus 1 star for coil whistle. Why the hell coil whistle exists, I hate it! Is it so hard to fix things up for team of pro engineers? Shame.
RGB fan does it's job - more beautiful than you think. :) Though, don't expect Seasonic quality of power delivery from this. But, I picked it because it was best choice in shop stock, as customer didn't want to wait.
