Description

I have switched back and forth between the NH-U14S and the H100 and for now it's the Noctua.

WHy did you choose the Noctua over the H100i?

The h100i is extremely loud and the Noctua doesn't fall too far behind it and is much quieter, so I don't see a reason why he/she should take the AIO water cooler over the much cheaper, almost as good air cooler, unless space and aesthetics are a concern.

yikes! is the h100i really that loud? was thinking about getting it so that's why I ask

No, the H100i stock fan's are not that loud. I own it and have it installed in my current rig.

I guess everyone has their own definition for "loud"

True. Seems to me though that people are used to the quiet of school and office machines and they want their gaming rigs with larges fans spinning and coolig to sound just like that or better.

Interesting keyboard holder thingy! I can't tell for sure, but I think it might bug me if I tried using something like that, but it looks cool! Did you make it yourself?

Why didn't you just use better fans for the H100? 2 good fans would have been cheaper than your new air cooler? How about some more photo's of your completed build as well?

Any internal shots of the build itself? I do like the desk. I especially like that wooden keyboard holder, where'd you get it?

I'd be interested to hear about that wood keyboard holder and what kind of keycap you switched to. Maybe even some pics? Cool view though man.
