Description

Before I built this system I was given a prebuilt Asus tower with a i7-3770 and a GT 620. So what i did was replaced the gt 620 with a Pny gtx 1050ti from best buy. This made the system so much more capable. But it still felt bottle necked. Whether it was the cpu or 8gb of ram or the hdd I knew I should just build a new system around my gpu. So that's what I did... I bought all of the PC components shown on the list in one go. From my experience don't go through outlet pc. pay the extra 10 dollars or whatever and go through another retailer if you don't want to wait an extra week for the power supply. Also might have gone with a different case. The 275r is a good looking case but i question the cooling ability of it. Because of the closed front panel and the narrow intakes on the side of it. At the end of the day though Im really happy with the pc and my configuration. Upgrades coming soon will be 144hz monitor and then the gpu which i think will make for a more balanced setup. -Currently have my cpu Overclocked to 5.0 Ghz

Good case fore the price. My only gripe is cooling.

Looks nice, great work with your cables. Money well spent with that tax return, but that 1050ti hasn't aged well at all. What do you think you'll be upgrading it to when you do?

Thank you! I bought the 1050 ti about a year an a half ago. It does 120 fps in overwatch at high setting so i'm still happy with it. I'm thinking about getting a 1070 right now because i am kind of on a budget.

For $1,900 I bought a RTX 2080, also holy god take it off the carpet!

Nice build overall

Although $250 is wayy to much for a 1050ti...

I flipped the power supply to intake from the case. Hopefully that helps but with my current desk I don't have the space to put it on top.

Did you try a little glass-ish panel? You can get them at ikea and places like that, or just get a piece of wood plank from Home Depot, put it on your carpet, and put your PC on it. Atleast until you get a bigger desk. I really like the build though.

One of the worst builds for $2,500 that I have ever seen. I'm pretty sure this is hardcore trolling.
