The amazing Be Quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 has tons of space for both air flow and additions at the cost of being rather difficult to move. I built this PC with the future in mind - I don’t want to ever replace anything. Intended use is for anything; gaming, design, whatever I want.
Currently running with a standard 1920 x 1080 monitor, but I plan on getting one of those 4K 144hz monitors when they’re released within the next month. Hopefully an overclock of the 1700x will be more than enough for a single 1080 Ti to crank out well over 60 FPS at 4K, but if it isn’t, then the build can certainly handle SLI. It depends on the games I play. Destiny 2, the most graphics-intensive game I have, should run upwards of 70 FPS at Highest settings and close to max FPS at High. League of Legends, probably the lowest (unless you count RollerCoaster Tycoon), should hit max FPS easily at maximum settings.
Running the 1700x at a smooth 3.9 GHz OC. The Asus 1080 Ti OC’d itself (thanks, Asus!), but without a monitor to make use of it I can’t give any solid reviews or look to OC it further yet. The RAM I have isn’t optimal from a raw performance standpoint, but it looks nice and is very well-built with great cooling. I should never have to replace it, or even add more, even though a G. Skill Trident DDR4-3200 set would have clocked higher for less cash. I was lucky enough to get a clock of 2666 on my set without any tinkering, like others who reviewed it have done.
