+ Total (United States):
I use this rig for high-end gaming and high-quality video editing and rendering. Everything is better than I could have ever imagined (especially after upgrading to this from an i5-6400 & GTX 745).
When I first got the parts, I discovered that the motherboard would not receive power from the power supply. After about two and a half hours on the phone with ASUS tech support, I finally managed to get it to turn on.
Windows 10 installation was rough. I was sent a faulty USB drive from Microsoft (I ordered the USB drive version because my case doesn't have expansion slots for a disc reader), and all of my personal USB drives didn't work. A brand-new USB drive from the store managed to fix the problem. In total, it took 18 hours to get Windows downloaded.
Finally, I was ready to get going and test some games. After about two hours of playing Rainbow Six Siege, my graphics card started failing. My game crashed three times in a row, and artifacts were popping up randomly across my screen. Then, I returned the graphics card and was sent a replacement. It works perfectly.
One last thing was wrong, though. My ethernet was not working, and I could not troubleshoot the problem no matter how hard I tried. The motherboard was returned and replaced, but the ethernet still didn't work. Then, I decided to do what I had already done three times before and reset some settings in the command prompt. My ethernet connected instantly, and I haven't had any problems with the rig since.
Here is a short list of things I would like to do to the rig in the future.
Cinebench CPU Score: 2186 cb (OC @ 5GHz)
3DMark Time Spy Score: 9264 (default settings)
(3DMark Details) Graphics Score: 8928 CPU Score: 11778 Graphics Test 1: 57.96 fps Graphics Test 2: 51.37 fps CPU Test: 39.57 fps
Rainbow Six Siege: 70-80 fps (4K, high textures, max settings)
Rainbow Six Siege: 180-190 fps (HD, high settings)
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds: 130-140 fps (HD, high settings)
Fortnite: 180-190 fps (HD, max settings)
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: 270-280 fps (HD, max settings)
This a a great CPU that can perform any number of tasks I throw at it. I would have gone for the i7-9700K, but Hyper-Threading was something on my wish list from the start.
This fits perfectly in my S340 Elite. It provides amazing performance and great aesthetics for a reasonable size and cost.
This product works beautifully. I purchased it after replacing my motherboard, and it definitely lives up to my expectations.
This motherboard has all the features I need and more. Its support for overclocking helps me get the most out of my components.
This memory kit is a beast. After upgrading from 8 GB of DDR3-2133, I can easily say that I'm glad I chose this kit.
Laptop hard disc drives stand no chance. With this SSD, Windows 10 boots up in about 5 seconds and everything opens up quickly. Also, it has plenty of storage for any crucial programs I need to store.
This HDD has enough room for all of my games and any video projects I'm working on. It delivers great performance at a great price.
This graphics card is all of my hopes and dreams. I upgraded from a GTX 745, and things could not have gone smoother (hehe). My first card stopped working in 2 hours, but I replaced it and am more than satisfied with the performance.
This power supply could not make me any happier. It's powerful, it's reliable, it's efficient, and it's fully modular. That's all you need to know.
This OS works great with all of my programs and is the best for gaming. Installion was rough, but it was mostly due to faulty USB drives.
