Oh come on. That blurb is market positioning, not a technical requirement. There's nothing there that says not to use it for a gaming build. Does it have sufficient wattage? Yes. Does it have sufficient amperage on the 12V rail? Yes. Is it reviewed well enough? Yes. Does it have a history of failures or DOA? No. Good technical reviews of the PSU show that while not perfect, it is suitable for a gaming build.
Yes, but for the same price or slightly more you can get one that is higher quality meaning there is no point in choosing a CX power supply.
You've been claiming that it's "terrible", "not for gaming builds", and "a big no". Lets stop with the hyperbole, incorrect statements (not for gaming builds), and PSU drama ok? If there's a better one for the price, fine. But that doesn't make the selection "terrible" and "a big no".
Ok , in all fairness it's not terrible or the worst out there it's just not the best option for any sort of gaming build and seeing it be put in gaming builds grinds my gears. That's just my 2 cents.
