Noctua NH-L12 - replacing 120mm fan, good idea or bad?

Primarily for aesthetics, I'm thinking of adding the NH-L12 to a mATX tower build I'm drafting. The cpu is an i5-6500, and I'm thinking of replacing the NF-12 PWM fan with a Bitfenix Spectre Pro PWM fan. Would this affect its performance too much for it to be worth the looks? Or is it perfectly fine?
