In browsing for RAM deals, I noticed these: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/avexir-memory-avd4uz124001608g4cob
Seems like a pretty spectacular deal for 32 gigs of DDR4 with fancy-pants LED's from a boutique manufacturer who normally prices waaay higher. I was aiming for 16gb 3000/CAS 15 at $120 with my new build, but 32gb for $60 more with LED's that match the rest of my components is too good to pass up.
Casual googling turned up no red flags for the manufacturer. The price is through Newegg and not some sketchy retailer.
I've been around long enough to know that if a price is too good to be true when shopping online, 99/100 times it is. So... what gives?
