$190 for an i7 4770k?

Micro Center's got it listed at that price, but their website for the store near me hasn't sold those in awhile. The online store just says, 'prices for processor vary! lulz!" And that's not helpful.

Is anyone actually seeing this at their local Micro Center?? $190 + tax for an i7 4770k sounds like a cruel joke!

[Update: Just checked out several more stores, and none are selling it. YARRRGGG!!!!! Show me the cheap i7!!]

Maybe.... or maybe there's some Micro Center next to some lucky individual clearing out their stock of i7's!

Eager buyers wish to know!!! :D

Damn! And I just bought a Xeon E3-1231 v3 for just over £200. If I were in the US I'd be kicking myself right now.

I found a used 4770k for $255 that's in seemingly good condition. Would this still be a good deal?

Depends on where ya found it! :)

Ask the seller questions, about how often it was used, was it overclocked, ever RMA'd, etc. Without knowing the details--or even a general idea of how the seller acts and reacts, I can't give you a rock-solid answer. In general, prices don't really go down quickly for Intel CPUs (new and used), so that $255 sounds sweet.

"AHHHH!!!" That i7 was screaming to be bought and sold for at least a $50 profit!

I'm guessing it's not in any northeastern Micro Center?
