Sky lake vs Kaby lake?

Hi, Im looking at getting a new cpu and motherboard and I dont know if waiting for kaby lake is worth it. It is said it is only a 10% increase in performance, which isnt much. Plus the motherboard prices will probably raise again like they did when skylake came out. Im leaning towards just getting skylake since it is still very new and very good. What do you think? Should I wait for kaby lake or buy the skylake and why? Thanks for the help in advanced!

If you can't wait go for skylake. If not wait and see how kabylake and even zen will perform like.

I want to switch to intel this time, I have amd and I like it but I want to switch. I just dont want the prices of motherboards to go up so high again. Thanks though

Iirc its about 1% to 2% better clock per clock. Unless you need something that Kabylake offers like 4K Netflix support just buy now.
