power / reset switch, headphone jack, usb ports, that stuff. I thought of getting a sacrificial donor case but there may be cooler/ inspirational parts out there. Anyone know of a site to shop for this stuff?

maybe just go to your local tech-/hardware store because i dont know any internet sites, next to ebay and amazon who sell those stuff, wich are specially made for this. so just go to ebay and search for switches n stuff.

I really wanted a plane cockpit style power switch, you know with that red thingy that you open to flick the switch and I only found ONE place that sells this kind of stuff.

This seems like a place that sells a lot of modding parts: https://mnpctech.com/case-mods-gaming-pc-liquid-modding-custom-computer-mnpctech-overclock-cooling-fan-grills/switches-toggle-pc-computer-power-reset/military-fighter-pilot-pc-toggle-switches.html

They also have guides on how to wire and mod cases, so thats handy too.

It does seem a little expensive though.

I recommend mountain mods.

If you don't care what it looks like or are going for the "industrial" look, check out your local automotive store. They often have an electrical aisle that has switches that you might be able to wire to the headers.
