Second display or KVM

I have built a 2nd PC and have both stationed on my desktop. I am weighing up whether to get a cheap 2nd monitor (about 23 inch 1080p) or to get a KVM instead. Thoughts?

Here's my desktop http://imgur.com/a/MFgUk I can move the L/H PC onto an adjacent shelf, freeing space for the monitor, if needed.

*If I get a 2nd monitor do you suggest new or something from Amazon warehouse?

Thanks.

If you want to go the cheap monitor direction go to Goodwill. I picked up a 27" 1080p samsung monitor labeled BRAND UNKNOWN on it for $25, I turned around and sold it for $100. Good will doesn't really price stuff accordingly and it's worth venturing in once in awhile.

If your phone supports it, take an HDMI (I also take along a DVI/VGA adapter) cable with you. Most of the Goodwills I've been to will let you hook plug a monitor in and test it. Good way to see if the screen is defective.
