I've read around that samsung made memory is better. Is this true?

If so, how can I find out or tell which of the many ddr4 memory kits around was made by samsung?

*not looking to buy now, prices still stupid, but making sure I know ones to keep an eye on, if I see a price drop. If I'm lucky.

Thanks.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but Samsung creates memory modules, not actual RAM (at least nothing new, such as DDR4). However, Samsung is one of the top leading Solid State Drive manufacturers, and although pricey, have higher read/write speeds than most, if not all, other Solid State Drives.

Mentioning how prices of memory are "still stupid", Samsung, being a manufacturer of memory modules, has noticed this (that prices have nearly doubled for most DDR4 memory kits). Samsung said that they are going to create a crap ton more and hopefully by 2018, or early 2018, memory prices will be somewhat normal again.
