Does anyone else butter poptarts?

For as long as I can remember I have buttered the backside (the side without frosting) of poptarts, everyone else says it's crazy, but almost everyone who tries it says it's great. Anyone else do it? I like to take a cinnamon poptart, toast it, and then butter it, can't have poptarts any other way (don't like any kind but cinnamon, though I haven't tried many)

They make unfrosted versions for a reason. PB&J.

At school one of my nicknames is PopTart Lord; I would think my opinion holds a good deal of value.

Nothing is weird with PopTarts. You may burn, liquid nitrogen freeze, toast, butter, double stack, procedurally remove the edges of, radiate, rip pieces of, or do anything else with a PopTart. Just don’t try to claim cinnamon PopTarts are good, I will become very upset.

I personally prefer to cool them in a freezer for about half an hour and then immediately consume them.

I have never done this and I'm now wondering why not. Now if I could just figure out a way to add bacon to them...

A toaster pastry.

I think you are giving it way too much credit calling it a pastry.

I have did some stuff that might be considered strange with food. But i have never buttered a poptart. But that dont mean i will never try it, i will do almost anything once...

yup.

When I first moved out of my Parents house oh so many years ago, generic poptrats where my morning breakfast. Butter was dirt cheap then too, so... yeah. I also at them with a fork and knife :)

I usually avoid pop-tarts, but an unfrosted one with real butter doesn't sound too bad.

*results may vary, but hopefully not
