Hi, I’ve recently bought a sound blaster AE-5 and it’s not detecting on my pc I’m running it on a Asus ROG Z370-3

have you downloaded soundblaster connect 2? that is required for the audio drivers and such

try pulling it out, and putting it back in, it could be a loose connection with the motherboard,then see if it pops up in your playback devices. if it does, set it as your default playback device, and make sure the 3.5mm cable is plugged in to the right slot

I’ve pulled it out and put it into another pcie slot and it still doesn’t pop up in playback devices

has it ever popped up? if not, it may be a faulty card, you may want to exchange it

I thought so too but when I gave it too my friend and he tried it on his system it worked so it’s kinda weird
