Windows needs second SSD to boot

For some reason my computer won't boot without my second SSD installed. I stopped using it a while ago after I cloned it to a newer SSD with bigger storage. (I went from 120 to 256) I'm not sure why, but it needs the 120gb SSD to boot despite the 256gb drive gets all the Windows updates. I've made sure that the 120gb drive isn't selected to boot in the bios, but the PC still won't boot without it. What do I do to fix this?
