Question : Can US power supplies plug into 220Volt

Hey everyone im helping a friend build a PC, however they live in the Philippines where they use 220volt plugs. Will most modern power supplies be able to be used there?

The initial power supply we were going to get was the Corsair - RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply, but im unsure if it will be good for 220volt plugs.

Any help is appreciated

All Corsair PSUs (even the new budget VS series) are Active PFC units and can work with a wide range of voltages.

They do not interfere with the AC input thus these PSU units doesn't need a 110 / 220V line switch.

I don't know about the older VS series though.

That unit will be fine with a 220V AC input, however, make sure that you have the right IEC cable. The provided cable might not have the right physical plug for the outlets in the Philippines.

Any PSU that can work on 110v will also work on 220v.
