Most people generally leave about 100W of headroom. I'd get a nice qualtiy PSU like this one from Seasonic, but the CX500 would work fine too

I would rather a 600Watt but you can get the 500Watt from newgg for $35.00 right now which is why im asking

You'd be fine with a qualtiy 500 watt unit, although I wouldn't try pushing anything

Get the 600...you don't want to be within 100w of the limit...
