Budget gaming PC build

My budget is low given that I need something sooner than I can save up for a better build. I’m looking for something in the 300-400 USD range that can run games like Minecraft and Don’t Starve at a decent speed as well as some video editing. My goal with this PC is to be able to upgrade it over time as opposed to scrapping. and building a new one if that helps. I don’t need peripherals and I want the Windows 10 OS.

Note: After some poking around i realize my budget may be too low, if it isn’t possible to make a decent build i can stretch to the 500-600 USD mark, I just wouldn’t prefer to.

Here you go. Should meet your requirements just fine! You mention wanting the OS to be W10 so I assume you don't have the OS yet. In that case, you'll have to add about $120 to your list unfortunately.

Not sure how the 2400G will handle video editing. That's a pretty daunting task for a quad-core CPU but as long as it's not professional work and if you aren't trying to edit 4K60 video, I still feel comfortable suggesting this CPU.

To turn this build from 'good' to 'great' I would consider upgrading to 16GB of RAM and adding a GPU down the line. Something like a RX 580, 1660 Ti, 2060, etc. That would allow you to basically play whatever you want at at least 60 FPS.

$560 gives you a 1030, but more importantly, a 6c/12t CPU.

Just would need to update the BIOS to eventually do a 1660 Ti and a 3600, the PSU can stay.

[STAFF REMOVED]. I also don’t know how well the 2200G will do at video editing, but you should be able to get good performance with its integrated graphics at lower settings and down scaling to 720p for some games until you can afford to eventually get a dedicated GPU. The motherboard will also allow you to eventually upgrade to a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU with a BIOS update so the build is very upgradeable. Only other thing I’d suggest is to get some more case fans down the line for better airflow.

That's the best i could do!

Perfectly capable for Minecraft and similar games. (Do not use Optifine Seus or similar shaders, as this setup will not cut it!)
