New computer build help

racingfan36

The last time I built a computer was around 2009 when I was heavy into gaming, haven't really kept up with the parts since then. I'm looking for a pretty decent machine some gaming, video editing and work machine. I will have it hooked up to a TV so it will also be for my media center. Any thoughts or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

9900 comes with a cooler

cheaper RGB RAM, 2nd SSD

the 1660S is about as good as the 1660 Ti.

quite overkill on the PSU. A 550W CX will do just fine for less than half the cost.

The stock Intel cooler isn't really adequate for a chip like the 9900 (if thermal throttling is reported with the 9700, it will be worse with the i9), so I'd do something like this
