Hi,

First build for gaming. Ideally 1080p at 144hz but would like to not have to upgrade for at least 3 years ideally.

Need advice on remaining components: 1. cpu cooler (if necessary) 2. case 3. case fans 4. monitor

*Any advice on the components that I have already picked out would be MUCH APPRECIATED!

Thanks!

Thanks!!

Are case fans recommended? If so how many?

Recommendation yes, will you need it, no.

The case already comes with 2 case fans and that should be enough. Double-check with test tho, it's his build so he'll know better.

Any problems with the cpu cooler that comes stock with the Ryzen?

If you're thinking about overclocking then replace it, otherwise it's great for cooling!

probably a couple, airflow is good.

Sounds right to me:D

Also, do you think my choice in GPU is overkill? I was originally going to get a card for around $400 (that was my original budget), but thought I would spend a little more so I wouldn't regret my choice a few years in. Having said that is there another card that you would recommend if any?

What you have would work, as long as the drivers are good.
