Would this build be good for streaming and gaming?

I was looking to build this PC and use it as my second gaming system. How is it for streaming and gaming at the same time?

Bought the hard drive. Planning on buying the ram Friday.

Cool! What else have you purchased?

I have the intention to make a new build as well.

But i have purchased only the board so far.

It was sort of expensive anyway, 157.33€. lol

Can I get any brand of Ram as long as its ddr4?

  • 1 point

Pretty much, yeah. Memory is all compatible, just get the same type if you’re getting two packs, and keep in mind what type of DDR4.

Can you link some good one

  • 1 point

Yes you could.

But DIMM not *SO-DIMM.

*Used on laptops and notebooks mostly.

That's the only thing I got right now. I can afford to get the case, storage, memory, and ram with every check, but when I get to the CPU and GPU, it might take a minute. I'll probably get the CPU first then I'll probably with until tax time to get the best graphics card around.

Yeah, i have the intention to buy the Case and the CPU in the following 2 weeks.

I just can't figure out yet, if i wanna go with the cheaper R3600X or going a bit overboard and get the 3700X!

Man, that's a serious problem to be honest. lol

Yeah, was that the best GPU that you put in my build?

  • 1 point

Your build has a RTX 2060.

If you want it cheaper, there is the GTX 1660 Ti.

Is the one in my build neccessary or can I go cheaper and still get close to the same results?

For gaming and streaming performance, it depends on what games you play, and how many cores it uses. What kind of games are you planning on playing?

  • 1 point

Current games like Call if Duty and pubg. Basically the new and current demanding games.

1080p I assume?

Yeah

When it comes to gaming I believe that it would work smoothly, but along with streaming could cause a bit of lag. Possibly try upgrading the CPU to have more cores. I would also recommend a storage system upgrade.

the 2060 NVENC will do the job for streaming

everything is solide except the motherboard, I will go with one of these. because, they will give better power delivery for the cpu Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard or MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

Did you want other recommendations for a case ?

  • 1 point

Yeah, link a few cases if you can.

  • 1 point

Right now, probably around $50 or $60. Just for now.

Just started the process by the way. Bought my first part for my gaming pc. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Seagate-BarraCuda-Hard-Drive-1TB/112792484

$50/$60 is plenty to pay for a nice case. It's when you get into competitive gaming is when you need a case with high air flow.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but this is currently on sale for $49.95, has a 256 MB cache.
