Cheapest card for 40+ fps gaming on more than FHD

What would be the cheapest card for getting good playable frame rates on modern games on a resolution above FHD such as 2K or something? Maybe a 1660Ti? I don't know much about parts anymore they have changed too much since the last time I paid attention.

FHD is not 2K. FHD is 1080p.

Even the GTX 1660 Super (cheaper than the GTX 1660 Ti but almost as fast) will be able to deliver 60 fps at 2K on some particular games.

I am aware of this as you can tell from the title. In the body, I accidentally said about instead of above, I'll fix that now.

OK. :)

Anyway the GTX 1660 super will do then, provided you have at least a 4 core hyper threaded processor, to eliminate a CPU bottleneck on some particular games.
