not a good build due to the terrible PSU.

What are you talking about? On Amazon it has 4.5* after over 1000 votes

You seem to be very knowledgeable, what are you thoughts ?

I am not as knowledgeable as you think. It just that people who know next to nothing are easely impressed. But you will learn in time I am sure.

What is the price of that combination? GTX1070 by itself is extremely overpriced. And that Intel CPU is crap IF my instinct of a price is correct. Is it more or less than 1000$?

I can make you better stuff for 700$ - 800$

What is the issue with the power supply ?

  • 1 point

It's a very cheaply made unit, even worse than the CX.

What's the price of that thing?

1000$ CDN so about 750$USD

Leaves me a big budget for a 1440p 144htz monitor

That is a very good price I think considering that 1070 is inside. However CPU, while probably adequate, could be better for the price. Some Ryzen. Give me 5 - 10 minutes

The case and all the rgb on his setup make it so nice and clean. Would you be able to get a similar case and rgb setup with the better internals ?

Is RGB necessary ?

There are better models of 2060 though

Yes unfortunately I’m a sucker for a clean build with RGB (as much as possible lol). I really like his case and rgb on his build.

I have thrown in better 2060 for some 25$ more. I think it has some red RGB rings around fans.

Performance over looks should ALWAYS be priority. Looks can be added in time. That said for 1300$ I can do better. And 2060 beats 1070Ti.

So the second build with Ryzen 5 for 1300$ prebuilt or your build for for about 1400 once taxed and shipped?

I haven't even linked any 1300$ - 1400$ Canadian yet... . Have you considered adding RGB stuff after PC purchase? Like a month or 3 after.

  • 1 point

I will need some time to look into those components since you haven't provided any links. 1300 Canadian or US? Because if 1st one was 1000 Canadian, I have difficulty to imagine that 2nd config being just 300$ Canadian more expensive. If it truly is Canadian, than that is a great deal that I may not be able to beat.

Yes this is Canadian as well and it’s 1300$ all in. 1yr warranty. Basically be around 1000USD
