I need a good harddrive. 2TB is my sweetspot. And I was wondering what is a good 7200rpm 64mb cache hardrive?
Seagate barracuda or wd blue/red/black (whichever is cheaper on sales)
NEVER GET SEAGATE. They have a 160% chance to fail in the first year. WD Caviar Blue performs great and it's incredibly cheap. I have a lot of old drives from 2005 that still run no problems from WD.
I second this. I had a 7200 RPM Seagate in a laptop once and failed in under 9 months. My WD installed in my custom built PC hasn't let me down yet, i highly recommend it.
Right. Like a manufacturer that makes 59 million hdd's a year has a 160% failure rate. And Blues don't go past 1tb. Any other suggestions?
Stick with the Barracuda.
Don't believe me, but they suck with their warranties. You'll regret ignoring me.
Anything from Western Digital or Seagate. They are both fantastic choices.
Exactly what I was thinking, thanks bro
I have Two Seagate 2T 7200 Rpm Baracudas. Excellent Drives.
