CPU cooler that fits my red and black theme

Hey all,

this is my current set-up:

http://pcpartpicker.com/b/bnhqqs

Currently i have the corsair H60 but its acting weird sometimes (weird sounds from the radiator) and the fan that i replaced, still spins weird sometimes.

I wouldn't go for an aircooler because most of the time i find them way too big and since i have a rather small case with a big window, i would prefer to see more than just the aircooler

I am looking for a water cooler, not too pricey and actually id like one with red tubing

so far i've found that this one is matching but i've read mixed opinions about it + id prefer to not use colored liquid

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=2YM-0002-00002

I know the kraken x31 and x61 are very good coolers but i dont know if you can change the tubing or if there is a way to change the color of it?

I'm open for suggestions! All help is welcome

you wont be able to fit a 240mm radiator in the spec 03 case, only 120mm rads. The X31 will fit. You can get air coolers up to 157mm tall. HOnestly you would be better with an air cooler ..... This phantek will fit and has a red heatsink. You could change the fans to black ones too.

thanks!

Yes im rly hesitating.. but they all seem so big :/

Are you sure a double one wouldn't fit on top? i measured it and there is space (not sure with the RAM sticks then tho)

Yes an x31 will deffo fit but id rly want red tubing

thanks for the feedback!

if you check under tech specs it seems the biggest is the H80i

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-spec-03-orange-led-mid-tower-gaming-case

It is not officially supported but some people have been able to do it but this depends on the motherboard.. It is a big risk.

Yeah I haven't heard the greatest things about that specific cooler either. What I suggest you do is go with the Swiftech H220-x or H240-x. Both are absolutely AMAZING products, and since they are completely expandable, you could just replace the supplied tubing with any tubing of an appropriate ID and OD. You would have to drain it and refill it, but that isn't really all that difficult.

Edit: I just read the comment chain above and found that you can't fit a dual radiator. Swiftech does, however, also sell a 120mm and 140mm model.

Thanks! A single one it will be then.

I've never changed tubing but i guess a little research can do wonders ^
